Emily has been in public education for over fifteen years with experience in independent settings before that.
She is currently an instructional coach in the area of literacy for grades three through eight.
The granddaughter of a man who founded his local, union work is in her bloodline.
She has been a Legislative Action Team chair, an NEARA delegate and an active member of several county and state committees.
She had an NBI passed at her very first RA and has been doing the work!
One of her favorite moments was registering retired educators to vote during the Obama campaign. The power of registering new voters of all ages has really stuck with her.
A member of her school district's faculty music ensemble, Emily loves working in her. communities in any way she can to build a better world for tomorrow.
