I am currently serving as Georgia Association of Educators-Retired President.
I have been an NEA member since 1979.
I have served as Building Representative in Mobile County Education Association (Mobile, Al.) and Atlanta Association of Educators

I have served as the Georgia State Contact person and Southeast Co-ordinator for the NEA Democratic Caucus.
Before retiring, I taught 38 combined years in Texas, Ohio, Alabama, and Georgia.
I am serving a 4-year term on the Mobile County Democratic Executive Committee where I serve as LGBTQI Chair.
My other roles are: Secretary of the Mobile NAACP 5044,
Secretary of my Atlanta Townhome Association
Vice-President of Order of Pan Mardi Gras Association.
